Congratulations to the Emeriti Center’s very own Dr. Janette Brown for receiving this award!
Dr. Janette Brown, Executive Director of the Emeriti Center, was called into a meeting on Wednesday morning. Turns out, it was a surprise party! She was greeted by JaBari Brown of Staff Assembly, who informed her that she had been named the winner of the 2019 President’s Award for Staff Achievement.
The President presents the award each year to a current, full-time staff member who has made exemplary contributions to university life, enhanced morale, and demonstrated enthusiasm for and dedication to the Trojan Family. Dr. Brown was honored at the Staff Recognition Luncheon held on Friday, March 15, 2019.
