Program & Videos, Kaufman Center Tour, & Lunch
A short business meeting included re-election of current SRA officers for the next two years. Then, Jeffrey de Caen discussed the development and construction of the Glorya Kaufman Center located next door to the URC. He showed slides and videos and held a Q&A before leading our group on a very personalized tour of this innovative and extraordinary new building.

The USC Glorya Kaufman International Dance Center, is recognized as a ‘Palace for Dance’. Jeffrey DeCaen, has overseen several major construction and renovation projects for music buildings on the USC Campus. However, the prospect of building a new state-of-the-art Kaufman Dance Center at USC required him to do more than a bit of homework. He researched national and international Dance Centers and Performance Venues and interacted with Ms Kaufman, architects, engineers and construction crew in preparation for the 2014 groundbreaking of the Kaufman Center.
