Partner Event: Complicit by Max H. Bazerman
January 18, 2023 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
It is easy to condemn obvious wrongdoers such as Elizabeth Holmes, Harvey Weinstein, and the Sackler family. But we rarely think about the many people who supported their unethical or criminal behavior.
In his talk, “Complicit”, Max Bazerman will tell compelling stories from his book about those who enabled the scandals. He will also offer insights for recognizing and avoiding the psychological traps that lead us to ignore, condone or actively support wrongdoing in our businesses, organizations, communities and politics.
This event is co-hosted by the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and the USC Behavioral Science and Well-Being Policy Initiative.
Please note, in-person registration has reached capacity for this event. Due to high demand, this event will be livestreamed on Zoom. Register here to attend this event virtually.
