USC president-elect Dr. Carol Folt met with the Emeriti Center, Staff Retirement Association and the Retired Faculty Association in March. They discussed the valuable roles that the Emeriti Center and our retirees can play at USC. President-elect Folt has agreed to be present at our annual holiday breakfast on December 2 and “shares our commitment to connecting with people, and engaging with multiple viewpoints”. Dr. Folt expressed interest in working with retirees and attending a retiree event once a year.
Dr. Brown left the meeting filled with excitement. “Dr. Folt is warm and gracious. We look forward to working with her in the future.”
