Florence Lin

Last updated 10/04/2021

Florence Lin used the Basil Award funds for travel and conference expenses to present interdisciplinary, real-world, and unifying physics research results at scientific conferences. Specifically, her results include a unified formalism for classical and quantum dynamics in magnetic fields and (for three-body systems) in gravitational fields. These results have applications in fields including solid-state physics, condensed matter physics, semiconductors, photonics, chemical physics, and molecular reaction dynamics. The results have all been produced independently at F. J. Lin Applied Mathematical Research
