This workshop is for you if you are worried about being a victim of a computer scam or a hacker and especially if you know someone who has and what they went through as a result.

This workshop will cover the security threats to you and the personal information that you have stored on your computer. The workshop will cover the following details in an easy-to-understand presentation:
How exactly does scamming work?
How to recognize and avoid damaging results?
What are common scams?
What to do if you are scammed / hacked?
What’s involved in recovering from scamming / hacking?
And more
Skillsets of all levels are welcome. The GeroTech students will answer any questions you may have about these topics during the workshop presentation, plus at the conclusion, also answer questions on any technology topic participants would like to bring up
