Natalia Carrillo

Natalia Carrillo is a junior studying International Relations whose future plan is to pursue a master’s degree and eventually transition into project management. This summer she served as a voting observer for Mexico’s presidential elections on behalf of the Organization of American States (OAS), an experience that deepened her understanding of international governance. She also achieved a long-held goal of studying abroad in Paris, where she enrolled in a course titled “The European Union and its Discontent.” at the American University of Paris. This was her first time traveling to Europe, having the opportunity to explore both France and Belgium.

In addition to her academic pursuits, she is actively involved in the USC Spanish Association, where she serves as the Director of Learning. In this role, she organizes “Mesas de Conversación” (conversation tables) to provide a space for peers to practice their Spanish. As Natalia moves forward this semester, she is eager to begin a search for internships and gain hands-on experience in project management.
