On February 25th, 2022, USC’s RFA & SRA hosted an installment of the Distinguished Lecture Series featuring Christopher Manning, VP and Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer at USC.
Dr. Manning is USC’s first Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer who reports directly to President Folt. He also leads the university’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and works with faculty, staff and student leaders across USC to deliver sustained, measurable improvements in educational and organizational environments. He is active in several of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives at the university, including the President and Provost’s Taskforce on Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and the Department of Public Safety Community Advisory Board. For his Distinguished Lecture, Dr. Manning will be speaking about his efforts to combat racism and discrimination in all their forms, and to encourage a spirit of respect, understanding and belonging for everyone who comes to USC’s campuses.
A recording of the event will be posted shortly.
