After a two year hiatus, the Emeriti Center’s Annual Holiday Breakfast returned on December 3rd. It was a wonderful gathering of friends, old and new, in the spirit of the upcoming holidays. Over a hundred people spanning the SRA, RFA, and greater USC community joined each other at the USC Town and Gown ballroom. Those in attendance were treated to a room full of camaraderie, a great meal, and a surprise appearance by carolers to get everyone in spirit.
Not only was the season being celebrated, but also individual contributions to the Emeriti Center’s mission to serve the retiree community. RFA President Jerry Walker was recognized with the Robert P Biller Service Award and 50 years of Service for his dedication to USC and the Emeriti Center. For their commitment to aid retirees in understanding and implementing the best choices regarding Medicare, Professors Patrick K. Tabon and Brad Williams were awarded the Service & Learning Award. Our Scholars were also celebrated for their continued success in their studies at USC.
