Dana Goldman is the Dean and C. Erwin and Ione L. Piper Chair of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. He is also the co-director of the USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics and serves as a distinguished professor of pharmacy, public policy and economics. Additionally, he is a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and research associate with the National Bureau for Economic Research.

Joseph Grogan served as Assistant to President Donald J. Trump and Director of the Domestic Policy Council. He was the President’s lead advisor on a variety of domestic policy issues including health care and regulatory and deregulatory initiatives. He has held a variety of health care roles in the public sector including Associate Director for Health at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Executive Director of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV and AIDS (PACHA) and Special Assistant to the Commissioner of the Food And Drug Administration (FDA). In the private sector, he headed regulatory policy at Amgen, Inc., and Federal Affairs at Gilead Sciences, Inc.. He is a health policy thought leader who has played a key role in the health sector’s most consequential debates of the past two decades.

Wendell Primus
Wendell Primus is the Senior Policy Advisor on Budget and Health issues to Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In that capacity, he was the lead staffer in developing the Affordable Care Act. Prior to this appointment in March, 2005, he was the Minority Staff Director at the Joint Economic Committee. He has also held positions at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, served in the Clinton Administration at the Department of Health and Human Services and as Chief Economist for the House Ways and Means Committee and Staff Director for the Committee’s Subcommittee on Human Resources.
