Restoring Ourselves: Restorative Yoga & Mindfulness

On Friday August 14th, we learned about restorative yoga, a quieting practice which helps reset the nervous system and provide calm for the body.
The presentation offered different breathing, meditation, and restorative yoga techniques which can be used throughout your day in order to counteract the effects of stress on our nervous system. You can learn modified posed depending on your needs and to follow safety considerations.
You will need a journal and pen, two pillows, and two folded blankets.
