Vivian Churness’ “Midwifery for Nurses in India” to be released in May

Vivian Churness received funding from the Office of the Provost and the USC Emeriti Center to write and edit a book titled Midwifery for Nurses in India. It will be released sometime in May and will be published in Chennai, India. The Office of the Provost and the USC Emeriti Center received acknowledgement for the grant in the book.

The book features 7 contributors from India and 5 contributors from the United States. Churness hopes that the book will help reduce maternal and infant mortality in India. We congratulate her for her hard work and dedication to this project!
